Introduction

BKAYDesign is very proud to have designed and manufactured the new Post 1945 Gallery for the Army Museum of Western Australia in Fremantle, which is now open to the public.

The gallery tells the story of the Australian Army from the end of the Second World War through to the ongoing conflict in Afghanistan. Among the conflicts covered are the Korean War, the Malayan Emergency, the Vietnam War and the War in Iraq, as well as detailing the Army's impressive history of Peacekeeping operations.

BKAYDesign has crafted every aspect of the new gallery to deliver an innovative, world-class exhibit. Working closely with the staff and volunteers from the museum, no effort has been spared in producing an experience that is engaging, authentic and educational.

Using large-scale information graphics, detailed mannequin displays and unique audio visual presentations, the new Post 1945 Gallery represents a significant step forward for museum displays in Western Australia.
